I take care to commit only to projects that align with my values and interests. Each project is an important opportunity to communicate, describe, and share what’s important.

The responsibility of journalistic documentation is a time-honored one that I do not take lightly. The written word fundamentally changed the way humans could share, pass down, and move information across the globe. It’s a fundamental part of free society and deserves protection as well as a dedication to excellence.

My recent work has been focused on the music industry and mental health, two of my passions. My goal is to infuse interviews and articles with themes of mental and emotional struggles and successes to normalize these discussions and make it easier for others to talk and get support. When we make it visible, we give others permission to speak up.

Music and the arts have given so much to so many and helped us through life’s difficulties. I feel a responsibility to support the artists who often struggle alone until it’s too late. The 27 Club doesn’t need any more members.
